Our mission + vision
Konbit Collective aims to continue the conversation about being a conscious consumer. We want to provide a place where people can shop with peace of mind knowing that what they're buying has been fairly made.
We support a system of job creation that supports families in Haiti and around the world.
We want to see more people aware of social justice issues and give them the confidence to be a part of the change in their daily lives.

Transparency
Each of our items can be traced back to its production location, if something can't be, we'll let you know.
No-nonsense
We're not trying to sell you something that you don't need. The world doesn't need more consumers, we just need to be more conscious of what we're buying and why.
Fair Wages
All of our employees in Haiti are paid a living wage for the work that they do. All of the brands we partner with pay their employees fairly.
Girl Power
We are a female-run business and we employ women in Haiti. We stand with agents of change, especially women. We believe in providing holistic services and meaningful work to mothers that will equip them to keep their children out of orphanages and in schools. We believe in raising young women to be community changers with each program we run and each person we employ. While we do not discriminate based on gender, we believe there is something really special to stand with women as they create change in their communities.
Job Creation
We believe in creating as many consistent jobs as we can in our community in Haiti.
Environmentally Friendly
When you choose to buy a handmade, quality product, you're buying something that will last longer and less waste ends up in the landfill. We also choose to partner with body care brands that are conscious about their ingredients. We encourage the purchase of items that are repurposed, upcycled, and/or made with recycled parts.
Each and every purchase supports bottom-up development through the non-profit ministry organization Konbit Haiti.
Some of our initiatives supported by the purchase of items through Konbit Collective:
Summer Camp: 250 kids are served for 5 weeks… with food, education, and more!
Christmas Camp: 250 kids are served for 1 week with music, food, and more!
Water Projects: Local water development practitioners are able to impact local communities with sustainable technologies and education.
Employment: Purchases go toward our employees who make the products, helping them with regular income.
Keeping Families Together: Each product and purchase helps keep families together through supplemental support.
